Job summary

Powys County Council is seeking a diligent cleaner to provide frontline cleaning services in line with council policies. You will be responsible for cleaning a designated area, maintaining security, and serving as a key holder for opening and closing on a daily basis.

You will lead a small team of cleaning staff and perform building checks as per local arrangements, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety across PCC premises.

Qualifications

• Stock records, time sheets and basic paperwork may be required.
• Literacy and numeracy skills are essential for daily tasks.
• Provide front line service in line with Powys Council policies and procedures.
• Be responsible for opening/closing and security of the establishment.

Responsibilities

• Clean a specified area to required standards.
• Manage day-to-day opening/closing and security.
• Act as a key holder and respond to emergencies.
• Supervise cleaning staff and supervise contractors/lettings when required.
• Carry out building checks and duties per local arrangements.
