We are seeking Research Scientists who can identify fundamental questions, originate new approaches, and turn ambitious ideas into clear empirical results. Sitting at the heart of our technical mission, this role owns research end to end—from selecting problems to implementing methods, running experiments, and communicating what we learn.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with influential publications or open-source work.
• Strong foundations in ML theory, math, and experiments.
• Experience with large-scale experiments and frontier models.
• Ability to own a long-running research agenda.

Responsibilities

• Originates ambitious research directions to advance ML systems.
• Design and evaluate novel model architectures and training methods.
• Run rigorous experiments from diagnostics to large-scale validation.
• Translate ideas into reliable frontier-scale implementations with a team.
• Communicate findings through reviews, papers, reports.
