Salary – $60,000 – $96,000

A leading technology platform within the local commerce sector, focused on empowering businesses with innovative delivery and order fulfilment solutions, is seeking a Team Lead Frontend Engineer to join their fully remote R&D team. They provide a cutting-edge platform to enable local businesses to directly connect with their customer base. This organisation is built upon decades of experience in the technology sector, with a team of seasoned professionals driving the development of a transformative delivery system.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with Tech Leaders to design and execute the product roadmap.
2. Develop new product features and maintain existing ones.
3. Mentor and support developers with product implementation.
4. Conduct code reviews and promote frontend development best practices.
5. Enhance team processes and best practices to support customer growth.
6. Participate in frontend architecture and design decisions.

Requirements:

1. 7+ years of hands-on frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
2. 2+ years’ experience with Next.js and Node.js frameworks on an e-commerce project.
3. 2+ years’ experience leading teams of frontend and backend developers.
4. Proven experience leading large-scale B2C e-commerce projects (100k+ daily user sessions).
5. High proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
6. Strong understanding of component-driven design and development.
7. Experience with frontend monitoring and performance measurement.
8. Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
9. Passion for excellent design, code quality, user experience, and performance.
10. Ability to understand the big picture and maintain attention to detail (pixel-perfect).
11. Good written and verbal English skills.
