About Us
Gr4vy (pronounced Gravy) is a "no-code" cloud payments orchestration platform. Our mission is to become the platform-of-choice for retailers deploying payment infrastructure worldwide. Founded by former PayPal fintech leaders, Gr4vy aims to disrupt the $4 trillion global retail payment space by simplifying merchants' payment infrastructure management.
Having raised a total of $27.2 million and nearly doubling our valuation in less than a year, it’s an exciting time to join our marketing team at this innovative B2B startup. You’ll have the opportunity to work with industry experts while shaping Gr4vy’s product marketing strategy from the ground up.
About The Role
Software Engineers at Gr4vy join a new team and collaborate across product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders. We work in short two-week sprints, sharing, reflecting, and iterating on our work.
Our platform primarily uses JavaScript, React, and TypeScript for the frontend. We employ unit, integration, and acceptance tests to guide design and ensure functionality.
Key Responsibilities
As a software engineer, you will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver software used by merchants globally. Your tasks include writing HTML, CSS, Python, and TypeScript to develop new features, refactoring code for better maintainability, and ensuring modularity. You should communicate effectively, participate in product planning, and share your expertise through code reviews, pairing, and mentoring.
Requirements
We seek developers experienced in TypeScript, preferably with React. Knowledge of libraries like Starlette and AsyncIO, and experience creating accessible HTML, are valuable. A strong understanding of software design principles and experience writing high-quality tests are also required.
