About You

As a software engineer, you’ll join a team focused on powering Private Market data intelligence and insights. You’ll report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate closely with various teams within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain code for new features and improvements with adequate test coverage, using modern frameworks
• Assist in various development phases, including specification, architecture, and productization
• Break down complex systems into manageable tasks for efficient delivery
• Assist in translating business requirements into technical designs and specifications
• Foster a DevOps mindset to ensure quality product delivery
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Promote best engineering practices within the team
• Offer guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in React development
• Experience in full-stack development, including working with APIs
• Experience with modern software practices such as TDD, Refactoring, Continuous Integration
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Willingness to adapt to change and take ownership of tasks
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering quality products
• Familiarity with microservice-based applications and CI/CD processes
• (Bonus) Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
• (Bonus) Experience with backend development and Python
