About the role

We’re seeking proactive problem solvers eager to elevate our web/mobile front-end capabilities. You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess a strong product sense, creating experiences that are not just functional but engaging and fun—after all, we’re building for teenagers! You have a growth mindset, a passion for continuous learning, and a drive to help others learn, too.

This is a hands-on role with write code every day as first responsibility and also shapping product vision and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute daily to a world-class product, with highly maintainable code and make key architectural choices for scalability.
  • Become the Subject Matter Expert for your area.
  • Promote best practices, always striving for incremental improvements.
  • Mentor engineers, help them improve their technical ability.
  • Collaborate with product, design, operations, and learning teams to understand requirements and articulate technical decisions and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a frontend software engineer withconsumer mobile products, Experience inReact, React Native and TypeScript/JavaScript or equivalent.
  • Empowering and mentoring is important to you and you love teaching your skills and approach to others.
  • When you speak, people listen and trust your expert opinion. You inspire people to follow you thanks to your skill in your craft.
