Job summary

Carousel Consultancy Ltd, on behalf of Netrolynx AI, seeks a Frontend Engineer to build data-rich, responsive interfaces using TypeScript and React. The role is in London hybrid or remote within the UK/Europe, with a salary of £70,000–£100,000 depending on experience.

You will focus on performance, code quality, testing, and edge cases, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable frontend solutions for a FinTech AI platform.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience building complex, high-performance frontend applications with TypeScript and React.
• Experience profiling frontend applications and optimising code to deliver smooth, responsive interfaces.
• Strong understanding of frontend code quality, testing practices and edge-case handling.
• Confidence troubleshooting issues and delivering practical solutions to improve reliability.
• Clear communication and ability to work with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels.
• Collaborative yet independent work style and team contribution.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and maintain complex, data-rich and responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and React.
• Profile and optimise frontend code to improve performance, usability and responsiveness.
• Write maintainable code and follow sound engineering practices across frontend development.
• Implement automated tests and ensure product quality through reliable testing and reviews.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, including edge cases and less-common scenarios.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to discuss technical approaches and deliver effective solutions.
• Identify areas for improvement and take practical steps to address them.
• Adapt to evolving needs of a growing product and contribute to team development.
