Job summary

Faculty is seeking a Frontend Engineer to visualise insights from data scientists for government and public sector clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to solve challenges using AI and machine learning, driving frontend standards and reusable components across the organisation.

Ideal candidates will have strong React experience, solid TS/JS/HTML/CSS skills, and experience with data visualisation (d3) and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable, maintainable web apps with React.
• Strong fundamentals in JavaScript, HTML, CSS3.
• Hands-on TypeScript or typed languages for robust codebases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and design to build client-facing products.
• Plan, coordinate and communicate frontend features to stakeholders.
• Set up and maintain development and deployment infrastructure for frontend team.
• Enforce frontend best practices and standards across teams.
• Create and maintain reusable component libraries for company-wide use.
• Provide training, mentoring and onboarding support for new frontend engineers.
• Serve as the go-to authority for frontend engineering within the team.
