Job summary

SR2 REC Ltd. is partnering with a tech business building the next generation of its product experience, moving from a traditional SaaS interface to a genuinely agentic, AI-first product.

We’re seeking an experienced Frontend Engineer who can hit the ground running, own delivery, and help shape how users interact with an increasingly agentic platform.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience across React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Experience building complex, modern frontend applications.
• Exposure to GenAI, agentic products or AI-powered interfaces.
• Understanding of streaming and real-time UI patterns.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of frontend components and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver value quickly.
• Shape user interactions in an agentic, AI-first platform.
• Deliver high-quality, maintainable frontend code on a contract timeline.

Contract Frontend Engineer - Agentic AI / GenAI

Contract | London / Hybrid | Immediate Start

SR2 is working with a technology business building the next generation of its product experience, moving away from a traditional SaaS interface towards a genuinely agentic, AI-first product.

We're looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer who can come in quickly, take ownership and help shape how users interact with an increasingly agentic platform.

What We're Looking For

• Strong commercial experience across React, Next.js and TypeScript
• Experience building complex, modern frontend applications
• Exposure to GenAI, agentic products or AI-powered interfaces
• Understanding of streaming and real-time UI patterns
• Strong product mindset and comfortable working with ambiguity
• Able to take ownership and deliver value quickly
• Comfortable working closely with product and engineering teams

Previous experience taking an AI product beyond a traditional "chatbot inside a SaaS platform" towards a genuinely agentic experience would be particularly valuable.

The Contract

• Location: London / Hybrid
• Office: Couple of days per week, particularly during the initial delivery phase
• Start: ASAP / within the next 2 weeks
• Initial priority: Immediate delivery through September
• Major product launch: End of January
