Job summary

Carousel Consultancy Ltd seeks a skilled Frontend Engineer to join a rapidly scaling FinTech AI platform based in London, with hybrid work options and remote opportunities across Europe. You will build and maintain high-performance frontend applications using TypeScript and React.

The role focuses on optimizing UX, performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative fintech solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing complex, high-performance frontend applications using TypeScript and React.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, profiling, and optimization techniques.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and code quality practices.
• Knowledge of AWS is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain complex, data-rich, and responsive user interfaces using TypeScript and React.
• Profile and optimize frontend code to enhance performance and responsiveness.
• Implement and uphold best practices in code quality, including automated testing and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, including edge cases, to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and team knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes.
• Support the company's growth by adapting to evolving project requirements and scaling solutions accordingly.
