Job summary

Brown & Brown Europe is seeking a frontend developer to maintain and improve our insurance platform (Vue 2, jQuery), with opportunities to work on modernization (Vue 3) and Azure-hosted services. You will join a small but growing team and have a real impact on the product.

Responsibilities include building responsive UIs, collaborating with backend developers, and ensuring performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience with Vue.js (v2 and v3) and ecosystem (Vuetify, Vuex, Pinia, Vue Router).
• Experience with jQuery.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous requests.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, interactive, and performant web applications.
• Design and implement user interfaces that are visually appealing and intuitive.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability and user experience.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues and provide timely solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in frontend development.
• Ensure the scalability, security, and reliability of front-end systems hosted on Azure.
• Collaborate with the team on best practices and coding standards.
