Job summary

Innova Recruitment in Manchester is hiring a Front End Developer (React & React Native) for a hybrid role. You will work on customer-facing web and mobile experiences, contribute to a loyalty and rewards platform, and gain exposure to backend work to become a well-rounded engineer.

You will collaborate with Product, UX, QA and senior developers to deliver features, review code, and optimize performance within a fast-growing, PE-backed tech function.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' commercial software development experience.
• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience building and shipping React Native applications.
• Passion for writing high-quality, maintainable code.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others.
• Interest in modern engineering practices and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build new features across web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Collaborate with designers, QA and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from experienced senior engineers.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve the platform.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and learning.
• Contribute ideas to improve engineering practices and the overall product experience.
