Role Summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced senior frontend developer to play a key role in designing, implementing, supporting, and innovating our next-generation Marketplace product. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, entrepreneurial development team in a fast-paced, business-aligned environment.

This role involves the entire software delivery lifecycle. We value candidates with strong technical skills, commercial awareness, and excellent communication abilities, as there will be significant interaction with internal teams and product owners.

Contract Details:

This is a 6-month contract role with a daily rate of £450 to £500.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment using Agile methodologies with minimal supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with proven experience in requirements gathering and translating requirements into technical solutions.
• Outstanding skills in React, Redux/MobX, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, and Figma.
• Experience working with UX/visual designers to implement design specifications using our tech stack.
• Experience with automated web UI testing frameworks.
• At least 10 years of commercial experience, ideally with a degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Desirable Skills:

• Understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST, API design, and tooling like Swagger.
• Experience with Redis, SignalR, C#, and ASP.Net MVC (SAS uses .NET Core).
• Experience with high-scalability projects involving cloud infrastructure design and implementation, preferably on MS Azure.
• Experience with Microservices and message bus technologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, including Git, Build Pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
