Position: Frontend Developer – six month contract – Inside IR35

Location: Nottingham, into the office 2/3 times a month

Our client is a global leader in data and technology, helping individuals and businesses unlock opportunities through innovative, data-driven solutions. Operating across diverse sectors such as finance, healthcare, and automotive, it leverages advanced analytics and software to support financial goals, prevent fraud, and drive smarter decisions worldwide.

Role responsibilities:

• Build scalable, cloud-based solutions using AWS, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate within an agile team environment, working closely with engineers and QA professionals of varying seniority.
• Lead and contribute to a major redesign and optimisation of the customer journey, enhancing both out-of-session and in-session experiences.
• Design, run, and analyse A/B tests to improve user engagement, implementing successful variations into the core experience.
• Support the delivery of mission-critical, high-volume transactional web applications.

What are we looking for?

• Development experience working with a Microservice architecture consuming REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Minimum 5 years’ practical experience using CI/CD tools, specifically AWS Code Build and GitHub.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Jest, and Enzyme / RTL.
• Practical experience working with A/B testing technologies (we use Conductrics, but experience with other tools like AB Tasty or Adobe Target is acceptable).
• Practical development experience working with tagging technologies such as Google Analytics or equivalents.
