We are seeking a talented Shopify developer passionate about front-end development and creating exceptional digital experiences. We value inquisitiveness, problem-solving skills, and a shared vision to collaborate and deliver quality work.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Collaborating with the technology team to deliver front-end solutions aligned with our roadmap.
2. Supporting the wider development team in scoping, reviewing, and implementing projects.
3. Communicating with business stakeholders to determine best practices and solutions.
4. Ensuring attention to detail and quality in the final product.

What we're looking for:

1. Hands-on experience with an e-Commerce platform such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce.
2. Proficiency in writing semantic, accessible HTML.
3. Strong understanding of web development principles and front-end performance best practices.
4. Experience with modern tech stacks, including transpilers, linters, CI/CD, build, and CLI tools.
5. Solid git/version control experience within a team environment.
6. Ability to liaise with non-technical stakeholders and develop user-friendly features.
7. A positive, problem-solving attitude towards technical challenges.

Bonus Points:

1. Experience with Liquid templating language.
2. Knowledge of Web Components.
3. Experience with Node.js.
4. Experience building Shopify Checkout UI & POS Extensions.
5. Deep understanding of client-side performance and accessibility considerations.
