Job Description:
Responsibilities
- You will be part of an Equity Front Office technology team based in London, collaborating with local stakeholders and global colleagues.
- Provide application support to Middle Office/Operations users, troubleshooting booking, allocation, and commission issues.
- Assist with onboarding new clients to the trading platform, create client reports, and coordinate with the development team to develop new functionalities.
- Familiarity with Fidessa Equity Trading platforms and allocation workflows in Fidessa CTAC is highly desirable, including troubleshooting allocation issues, blocks sent to Fidessa CTAC, and downstream allocations.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert in a proprietary in-house application for Settlement Lifecycle.
- Follow local and global JIRA processes for enhancement requests and bug fixes.
- Provide relevant management information as needed.
- Participate in testing new releases and implementing new workflows under the guidance of the project team.
Requirements:
- Experience in the investment industry/financial markets across various equity products such as CASH, ETS, SWAP, Derivative, FX, etc.
- Knowledge of global equity trading and allocation workflows.
- Experience with Fidessa CTAC and Fidessa FDM modules.
- Familiarity with CTM Trade Management and Traiana Trade Reports is a plus.
- Knowledge of FIX protocol and strong SQL skills are preferred.
- Experience supporting trading or allocation systems, including configuration and user support.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication in English.
- Collaborative and adaptable mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
