Job summary

Vanguard in London is seeking a Technical Lead to own the Front Office Asset Management application stack, partnering with business stakeholders, Product Owners and engineering teams to translate strategy into scalable technology solutions.

You will define the technical roadmap, drive cloud adoption (AWS), ensure security and resiliency, and mentor engineers, delivering large-scale transformation across complex enterprise landscapes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical initiatives across Front Office asset management systems.
• Proven ability to translate business priorities into technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, API design, and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical leadership across Front Office applications, aligning with business strategy and architectural standards.
• Lead the design, development, implementation, and support of technology solutions for investment, trading, portfolio management, and related capabilities.
• Partner with Product Owners, stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to define roadmaps and prioritize strategic technology investments.
• Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, platform simplification, resilience, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Mentor, coach, and develop engineers and analysts, fostering collaboration and technical excellence.
