Job summary

Saragossa, a London-based fund, is seeking a Senior/Staff Engineer or Tech Lead to design, build and own critical front office applications in C#, Python and SQL. You will sit with traders and quants, influencing architecture while remaining hands-on with production code.

Leadership experience is important, but deep engineering fundamentals and trading systems knowledge are equally valued. The role is fully office-based to keep decisions and collaboration close.

Qualifications

• Senior/Staff Engineer or Tech Lead with strong engineering fundamentals and trading systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and improve front office applications in C#, Python, and SQL.
• Own the technology that enables new trading strategies from day one.
• Mentor other engineers, review code, shape architecture and influence technical direction.
• Work alongside traders and quants in a hands-on technical delivery role; office-based environment.
