As our next Front Office Team Member, you will provide an amazing welcome for our guests, ensuring their stay with us exceeds their expectations. You will make friends, develop a reputation for outstanding service which puts our hotel on the map!

You will be supporting the Front Office Team to excel and deliver and will be a core element of our hotel's warm welcome, putting their well-being at the heart of everything you do while adding your personal touch to their stay. Our hotel offers 127 rooms, anda 3 star service. We provide complimentary meals for our staff, as well as an almost limitless supply of coffee and fun. To ensure you can best welcome and care for our guests you will need to be fluent inEnglish and have competent numeracy and I.T skills.

• Warmly welcome and greet guests, ensuring a positive first impression of our establishment
• Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes, handling guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain accurate guest accounts and process payments with attention to detail
• Handle telephone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a courteous and timely manner
• Promote hotel facilities and services, maximizing sales opportunities through product knowledge and effective communication
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues that may arise
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Assist with administrative tasks and reports as needed
• Stay informed about local attractions and services in Manchester to provide helpful recommendations to guests
• Adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure during busy periods

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in computer systems, with experience in Opera Cloud property management system preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Basic math skills for handling financial transactions
• Knowledge of local attractions and services in Manchester is beneficial
