Seaton House, St Andrews is seeking an exceptional Front Office Manager to lead our Front Desk team. This pivotal role is perfect for a service-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering unparalleled guest service.

As the Front Office Manager, you will be the face of Seaton House, responsible for ensuring that all front desk operations run smoothly and effectively. You will manage a team dedicated to providing the highest level of hospitality and service to our guests, from check-in to departure.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage and oversee all front office operations, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and outstanding service.
  • Train, supervise, and support front office staff, including receptionists, concierges, and guest services agents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize workflow.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with housekeeping and maintenance departments to maintain high service standards.
  • Handle guest inquiries, provide local recommendations, and resolve any issues with professionalism and poise.
  • Oversee the management of guest services technology and software.
  • Prepare and manage the front office budget, optimising expenditures while maintaining excellent service levels.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Front Office Manager or similar managerial role in a luxury hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for training and team development.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proficient in hotel management software (Opera) and MS Office.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with an ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
