The Hoxton, Edinburgh, is opening its doors as our first UK hotel outside London, located in the vibrant capital of Scotland. We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front of house team and contribute to the successful launch of our new property. Reporting to the Director of Rooms, you will oversee the front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure personalized guest experiences that encourage repeat visits.
  2. Lead and develop the front of house team, setting goals and fostering a supportive environment.
  3. Manage departmental budgets and expenses.
  4. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and identify process improvements.
  5. Maintain strong relationships with other departments and external partners.
  6. Adhere to health and safety policies, and participate in crisis management teams.
  7. Deliver outstanding customer service and support sales and events as needed.
Candidate Profile
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating positive guest experiences.
  • Experienced in a similar role, with knowledge of Opera Cloud or similar PMS systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to manage flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and able to foster a positive work environment.
