Develop forecasting and scenario tools covering refinery runs/yields, flows, inventories, demand and margins.
Analyse arb economics, freight, physical premiums and dislocations across key basins.
Monitor news, macro, geopolitics and market microstructure, translating developments into desk-relevant conclusions.
Track physical tenders/transactions and assess implications for near-term and forward structure.
Deliver concise daily/weekly outputs (dashboards, notes, presentations) to traders and stakeholders.

A leading energy trading business is hiring aMiddle Distillates Analystto support a high-performing distillates trading desk. This is a front-office-facing analytics role focused on building a differentiated view of global balances, flows, refining economics and price drivers... and translating that work into actionable trading insight.

What you'll do

Build and maintain a global distillates supply & demand balance
Develop forecasting and scenario tools covering refinery runs/yields, flows, inventories, demand and margins
Analyse arb economics, freight, physical premiums and dislocations across key basins
Monitor news, macro, geopolitics and market microstructure, translating developments into desk-relevant conclusions
