Job summary

BlueCrest Capital Management is seeking a developer to collaborate with traders to define RAD tool requirements and deliver AI-driven tools. The role combines Excel/C#-based back-ends with modern web applications powered by AI, aimed at cross-asset trading workflows and risk tooling.

You will help ensure rapid time-to-market, fit-for-purpose solutions, and highly reusable code while aligning with business sponsors and front-office priorities in London.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AI-enabled tool development and web applications.

Job description

The primary focus of this role is to face off to the traders and to meet any of their RAD tool requirements. These requirements vary from the small e.g. risk reports using data outputted from core systems, to the large e.g. trading workflow and risk systems, scenario tools etc. Any technology can be used to fulfil these requirements and a pragmatic approach has to be taken at all times, key factors are; time to market, is it fit for purpose, code reusability.

Historically, the team has delivered functionality using Excel front ends underpinned by C# library functions, Mongo and SQL Server databases..

Tools are now being made available as internally hosted web applications as well, facilitated by AI, which leads into... there is a real push to lean heavily into AI to generate the trader tools, so experience in this growing area is paramount.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with front office experience to further grow their exposure to cross-asset products and to deliver a solution whose benefits are highly visible and desired by the business sponsors.
