Job summary

Mondrian Alpha is seeking a Senior Front Office Data Business Analyst to lead the build-out of a firmwide investment-data platform. You will work directly with Portfolio Managers, traders and senior Tech leadership to source, structure and deliver critical market and investment data across the business.

This role offers high impact, Front Office-facing exposure, with significant technical ownership of a major data-platform build-out and the opportunity to influence data contracts and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• Strong buy-side experience is essential, ideally in a hedge fund or asset manager.
• Proven ability to operate between Front Office stakeholders and Technology.
• Hands-on background in Data Engineering, Software Development or technical data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions for PMs and traders.
• Own requirements across the full data lifecycle from ingestion to delivery.
• Shape a firmwide investment-data ecosystem across multiple asset classes.
• Drive onboarding and integration of market, reference and alternative datasets.
• Influence data models, schema design, and platform architecture with technical stakeholders.
• Support historical backfills, data quality, reconciliation and new data products.
