About the Role
COREcrutiment is working with a fantastic hospitality brand who are looking for a people-focused and experienced Training & Operations Lead to join their management team. This is a hybrid role that blends front-of-house training with day-to-day operational support, ensuring our team consistently delivers outstanding service and our guests leave happy.
You'll work alongside our General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Service Delivery Manager to embed high standards through effective training, on-the-job coaching, and strong leadership. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example and help shape the guest experience through structured development and team engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
* Deliver structured onboarding and induction sessions for all new front-of-house staff.
* Provide on-the-floor coaching by observing service, asking questions, and offering real-time feedback.
* Lead off-floor training as needed, covering areas such as upselling, service standards, and guest experience.
* Contribute to end-of-shift team debriefs and monthly all-staff meetings with relevant training insights.
* Collaborate with leadership on staff engagement surveys and adjust training approaches based on feedback.
* Support initiatives to improve upselling, guest feedback, and online review performance.
Operations & Guest Experience
* Support daily operations and maintain high service standards across the floor.
* Be available to assist with service during busy periods, including supporting bar operations.
* De-escalate customer issues and ensure all guests receive a consistent, high-quality experience.
* Work alongside the Assistant Manager to understand rota planning and team allocation.
About You
* Previous experience in a hospitality leadership role (e.g., FOH manager, service manager, AGM).
* Proven background in delivering or supporting training and staff development in a hospitality setting.
* Confident communicator with a coaching style that supports performance and learning.
* Organised and proactive, with the ability to lead by example during service and training.
* Comfortable working a flexible schedule across weekdays and weekends.
* Passionate about creating a great team culture and memorable guest experiences.
