Nursery Inn in Heaton Norris, part of Hydes, is seeking a Front of House Team Member. You’ll work on the bar and floor, be the face of the site, and learn the dishes and drinks to recommend to customers.

We offer flexible shifts from 1 shift per week upwards, 18+ applicants only, weekly pay, uniform or allowance, and a generous staff discounts platform. A friendly, team‑oriented environment with funded development opportunities awaits you.

• Increase sales through friendly service and conversation, and recommend dishes and drinks.
• Ensure cleanliness of tables and seating areas in bar and restaurant.

• Pay attention to allergens and correct orders every time.
• Undertake continual training to develop skills and knowledge.

What hours will you be working?

Flexible working hours - from 1 shift / 6 hours a week upwards including evenings and weekends with flexible shifts.

What you’ll be doing as a Front of House Team Member

As a Front of House Team Member, our customers are in your hands.You'll work on the bar and the floor andwill be the face of the site and become knowledgeable about all the dishes on our menu and be able to recommend accompanying beverages.Most of all you love to look after people, understand what makes them happy and have the desire to make someone’s day.

Your role will be crucial in ensuring the happiness of our customers, and responsibilities will include;

• Increasing sales through friendly service and conversation, and recommendingdishes, and accompanying drinks.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of tables and seating areas meet our high standards for every customer you greet in both the bar and restaurant areas.
• Working as part of a team to deliver excellent standards of customer service, ensuring each and every customer receives the best service possible.
• Attention to detail to ensure you serve the customer with the correct order every time and pay particular attention to allergens.
• Undertaking continual training to develop your skills and knowledge.

Your Pub

The Nursery Inn in Heaton Norris, is very much the heart of the community, hosting a large bowling green, and regular entertainment for the locals, it is a particularly busy site. There is a high-quality value-led food menu offering a variety for customers. Televised sport and regular entertainment are always well received by regulars at the Nursery Inn.
