Job description

We are a bold, award-winning business that prides itself on empowering our teams with the autonomy to operate boutique, premium establishments that impress our customers within an industry-leading environment. We run friendly, welcoming, and positive pubs, restaurants, and hotels with high standards, taking a different approach by always striving to be the best we can be.

We are seeking a front of house supervisor to join our team. This role involves delivering exceptional bar and waiting hospitality to our customers and supporting our management team in leading a shift.

The Pig is an iconic pub located in the heart of Bath, recently refurbished with a new look, an all-day food menu, and regular live sports. Enjoy hearty seasonal dishes, Piggy twists on pub classics, bar snacks, a brunch menu, and the best Sunday roasts in Bath.

Our bar focuses on craft beer, cask ales, wine, and cocktails. The beer garden offers a perfect setting for outdoor drinking and dining in warmer months.

What’s in it for you?

  • The opportunity to work for an award-winning business, recognized at the National Publican Awards with accolades such as Best Food and Premium Food Offer and Best Managed Pub Co (2024). You will work alongside some of the most talented people in the industry.
  • Access to Liberation Life, a platform offering cashback with major retailers and discounts on holidays, groceries, gifts, and more.
  • The chance to gain experience in a diverse range of businesses and food offers within a collaborative environment that encourages independence and innovation.
  • A competitive hourly rate, tips, and 75% off food on shift. Accommodation may also be available.
  • Industry-leading training and development through our ‘Pillars of Progression’ programme.
  • Support and coaching from our operations team and experienced managers.
  • Opportunities to work with locally sourced food and drink, including our award-winning beer.
  • Tools and investments in our properties to help you succeed.
  • Team events, parties, training courses, and benefits such as discounts and team rewards, including 50% off food on shift.
  • A company committed to caring for its team, supporting mental health initiatives like the Burnt Chef Project, and offering a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.
