We run friendly, welcoming, and positive pubs, restaurants, and hotels with high standards, taking a different approach by always striving to be the best.

We are seeking a Front of House Supervisor to join our team. This role involves delivering exceptional bar and waiting hospitality to our customers and supporting our management team in leading a shift.

Our pub is a charming place located on the banks of the Kennet & Avon canal in the North Wessex Downs, near Reading and Newbury racecourse, with easy access to London. It offers a unique experience in all seasons, from cozy fires in winter to summer barbecues and alfresco dining in our beautiful garden.

What’s in it for you?

  • The opportunity to work for an award-winning business, recognized with multiple high-profile awards at the National Publican Awards, including Best Food and Premium Food Offer and Best Managed Pub Co (2024). You will work alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry.
  • Access to Liberation Life, a platform offering cashback with major retailers and discounts on holidays, groceries, gifts, and more.
  • The chance to gain experience in a diverse, eclectic company with various food offerings. We encourage a collaborative approach, giving you independence to drive your pub’s success and implement your ideas.
  • A competitive hourly rate, tips, and 75% off food on shift. Accommodation may also be available.
  • Industry-leading training and development through our ‘Pillars of Progression’ programme, with bespoke training plans.
  • Support and coaching from our operations team and experienced managers.
  • The opportunity to work with locally sourced food and drink, including our own award-winning beer.
  • Tools and investments to help you excel in your role.
  • The energy of team parties, events, training courses, excellent suppliers, and top team rewards, discounts, and benefits, including 50% off food on shift.
  • A company committed to your well-being, supporting mental health initiatives like the Burnt Chef Project and offering a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.
