Job description

Job Title – Front of House Customer Service

Job Location – Acton

Salary – £26k – £28k

Our client is a vehicle finance and rental company providing flexible vehicle solutions for ride hailing drivers, focused on electric vehicles.

You will be joining a busy front of house team, greeting customers, completing vehicle inspections and assisting them through the collection and return of their vehicle.

Within this role you will also be responsible for other related fleet & customer service admin activity

Responsibilities:

  • Front of House Customer Service
  • Meeting & Greeting customers on arrival to the office, assisting them with their query or allocating them to the responsible staff member.
  • Completing vehicle handovers with new customers.
  • Explaining the basic controls and features of their vehicle.
  • Completing vehicle condition return inspections with customers at end of hire.
  • Completing pre-return inspections with customers to advise them of expected costs on return
  • Onboarding new customers that are renting or buying vehicles
  • Assisting them with all required paperwork and answering any questions they may have about their contract or vehicle.
  • Outbound calls to customers due to return their vehicle.
  • Confirming return inspection appointments and managing all pre-return admin.
  • Outbound calls to customers due to collect their vehicles to confirm all required documentation is ready ahead of their pickup date.
  • Managing post-sales follow-up to confirm customers are happy with the service and product. Answering any queries raised and ensuring that as many customers as possible provide feedback and reviews.
  • Updating the fleet system following vehicle movements in and out to ensure data is accurate and up to date.

Skills Required:

  • Hard working with a passion for customer service
  • A friendly personality with good communication skills (via email, phone, text, etc)
  • A good understanding of, and interest in, vehicles
  • Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points and no convictions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enjoy contributing to the team and growing with our company
  • A good communicator, patient, understanding and genuinely enjoys helping customers.
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills
