Front of House Assistant - London

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £13.85 per hour
Hours: 40 per week

Located in a stunning B&I venue in London, for a global investment company, catering for approximately 300 people daily with breakfast, lunch, a barista coffee bar, and high-end hospitality. The site features a Biodigester and offers benefits such as an on-site gym.

We are seeking a Front of House Assistant to join our team at one of our prestigious London locations. Ideally, you will have experience in a fast-paced catering environment, either as a catering assistant or supervisor, and be eager to advance into a managerial role.

You will enjoy working with a great team for a company passionate about food and service excellence.

Main Duties:
  1. Serving and interacting with staff and pupils during mealtimes.
  2. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  3. Washing, storing, and polishing crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
  4. Providing food and beverage service and performing minor food prep tasks.
  5. Setting up, serving, clearing, cleaning, and storing for special functions.
  6. Working additional hours during and out of term time for events and lettings, on a rota basis.
  7. Operating and cleaning dishwashing equipment, and maintaining service areas.
  8. Completing cleaning and hygiene duties as required.
  9. Assisting with meal documentation procedures.
  10. Supporting the service of all meals and functions as needed.
  11. Serving customers, visitors, and guests to high standards in line with company and client expectations.
  12. Maintaining vending machines and ensuring equipment functionality.
