The successful candidate will contribute significantly to the development of engaging and high-performing websites and applications.

The Role

The UX/UI Front-End Web Designer will be responsible for bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring a seamless and visually stunning user experience. This individual will contribute to both the aesthetic and functional aspects of websites and applications while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Designing and developing engaging, responsive web solutions across multiple browsers and devices.
2. Working with WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality.
3. Developing CSS/HTML/JavaScript code to build and enhance CMS templates.
4. Conducting user research, testing, and analysis to improve user experience.
5. Contributing innovative design concepts and UX/UI strategies through storyboarding/workshops.
6. Maintaining brand consistency across all digital platforms.
7. Collaborating with developers, designers, and marketing teams.
8. Implementing industry best practices to drive high-performing websites.

Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
2. Experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and Adobe Creative Suite.
3. Ability to balance marketing goals, client needs, and usability best practices.
4. Strong communication and organisational skills.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
6. Experience in UX/UI research methods such as user testing and contextual inquiry.
7. A qualification in a design or technical discipline or a strong portfolio of relevant work.
8. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
