FuseMetrix are based in Knowlhill, West Milton Keynes, which is a 5 minute drive from shops in Westcroft and Central Milton Keynes and close to the Teardrop Lakes for relaxing summer lunchbreaks.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Front-End Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the digital face of our CRM/ERP system, which is mainly used by the hospitality industry. You will be responsible for crafting the client-side of our web applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and translating our company and customer needs into engaging interactive designs.

* Utilise markup languages like HTML to build user-friendly web pages
* Maintain and enhance our website's functionality and performance
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and responsiveness
* Design and develop mobile-based features for optimal user experience
* Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to enhance usability and design
* Gather feedback from users and customers, translating insights into actionable solutions
* Craft functional requirement documents and guides for effective project management
* Create high-quality mockups and prototypes to visualize and refine designs
* Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting challenges
* Adhere to high graphic standards and maintain brand consistency across all digital platforms
* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the web development landscape

What is Required?

* Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer, demonstrating expertise in web development principles and practices
* Hands-on experience with markup languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
* Familiarity with JavaScript libraries like jQuery and frameworks like React or Angular
* Proficient in-browser testing and debugging techniques
* In-depth understanding of the entire web development process, encompassing design, development, and deployment
* A keen eye for layout aesthetics and user experience design
* Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for search engine optimization
* Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop, and content management systems
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving project requirements
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster effective partnerships with team members
* A BSc degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a similarly relevant field would be helpful.
