Your mission:

As a Staff Frontend Engineer at Jimdo, you will be expected to do more than just coding. We're looking for a leader who can create roadmaps for our frontend frameworks across the entire company. You will have a substantial impact on shaping our software-as-a-service (SaaS) offerings, ensuring we deliver high-performance, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Innovate, lead, and contribute to the frontend engineering direction of both our hosted and on-premise offerings.
• Collaborate closely with the Jimdo Product, Operations, and Engineering teams to shape the tasks we work on.
• Create roadmaps for our frontend frameworks, promoting a lean and efficient approach.
• Mentor, support, and challenge your team members to foster growth and collaboration.

What you bring:

• An inclination towards using simple, lean technologies.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Cloudflare Workers or CDN with computing at the edge is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in leading technical teams.
• An understanding of accessibility standards and a commitment to building inclusive, accessible digital products.
• Ability to work with a global team in a distributed work environment.
