About the Position

Exciting opportunity to work at a tech-centric prop trading fund which trades a wide range of financial products, with offices across the globe. Looking for a software engineer passionate about front-end development, user-interface design, and typed functional programming. You will participate in designing and implementing browser-based tools for trading infrastructure.

You will build for expert users, maintaining a high UX standard while creating flexible and powerful tools to meet their needs.

Beyond individual tools, the candidate should identify opportunities to develop libraries and abstractions, improve development practices, and enhance UI development across the firm.

Skills and experience sought include:

• A strong background in web technologies, including CSS, DOM, and UI frameworks like Vue, Angular, React, and Flutter.
• Experience building sophisticated, polished UIs in the browser.
• An interest in typed functional programming approaches, with experience in Elm, ReasonML, Purescript, Typescript, or OCaml (useful but not required).

The role offers opportunities to work across the stack, including front-end, back-end, middleware, and databases, and to collaborate closely with traders and end-users.

Fluency in English is required.
