Front End Sales Specialist - Drive Products

Your Role and Responsibilities


Mission Statement: To grow the business in the Delhi location and expand the Drive Products Division through Channel Partners, OEMs, System Integrators, and End Users. Work model: on-site.

This role belongs to the Motion Business for the Drive Products division, based in Faridabad, India. You will be mainly accountable for:

  1. Budget, Planning, and Execution to achieve sales targets for new business in Drive Products (VFD Products).
  2. Focus primarily on Market segments involving Channel Partners, OEMs, End Users, and System Integrators.
  3. Identify new customers and opportunities untapped by ABB.
  4. Achieve monthly order targets and collect overdue payments promptly.
  5. Develop new channel partners to address untapped distribution business in the cluster.
  6. Collaborate with market managers and product sales managers for business growth.
  7. Prepare business plans for each targeted market, focusing on activities.
  8. Drive business growth with End Users, Channel Partners, OEMs, and System Integrators through proper planning and timely support.
  9. Conduct in-house sales seminars with strong value propositions, working closely with partners and sharing success stories.
  10. Position products effectively to enhance sales.
  11. Ownership: Fully committed to meeting budget numbers, regularly interact with sales engineers of partners and customers, coordinate with the service team for after-sales support, and with the operations team for delivery commitments.
  12. Management Information System (MIS): Regularly update business data product line-wise and market-wise, prepare monthly MIS reports for stakeholders.
  13. Projects & Key Account Management: Systematically track key projects and customer activities, develop business plans for large partners, and take responsibility for their growth.

Qualifications for the Role

  • BE/B.Tech with more than 5 years of experience.
  • Good knowledge of Drives & Automation preferred.
  • Aggressive, result-oriented, capable of selling volumes and values.
  • Excellent communication and sales skills.
  • Milestones & Objectives:
  • Systematic business growth following pricing and channel policies, supporting demanding partners, OEMs, System Integrators, and End Users.
  • Achieve quarterly targets and meet 30-35 customers per month.
