Front End Developer - Outside IR35

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of full-lifecycle engagements at the forefront of Data and AI adoption. The successful contractor will join an established team working to lead the front-end design and development for a complex data platform.

Responsibilities:
We are seeking demonstrable experience working with customer and technical teams to understand and engineer the front end look and feel of a complex data platform.

1. Engaging with clients and technical teams to understand requirements, conceptualise user interfaces and demonstrate the art of the possible
2. Translating client requirements into project tasks
3. Designing web-based user interface systems that provide robust access to large data sets
4. Producing quality documentation and solution design
5. Taking a hands-on approach to build and implement the design with minimal technical oversight
6. Managing build and continuous integration tasks as part of an agile team

Skills / Experience Profile:

1. Strong experience in React development with deep understanding of Single Page Application architecture
2. Proficiency with modern React testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)
3. Experience implementing front-end state management solutions (Redux, Context API, Zustand)
4. Experience with Tailwind CSS
5. Experience implementing authentication using Azure AD/Entra ID
6. Experience with TypeScript
7. Experience with Python backend development (FastAPI preferred, Django or Flask acceptable)
8. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies

Additional Information:

1. Rate Offered: £500-550 per day
2. IR35 Status: Outside
3. Initial Duration: 6 Months
4. Location: Home based, with occasional travel to London and client site
