Outlier is seeking exceptional front-end developers and designers to help train generative AI models. This fully remote, freelance role offers flexible hours to fit your schedule. You will contribute by creating questions, reviewing AI-generated code, assessing UI/UX quality, and providing expert feedback, all aimed at improving AI understanding of front-end technologies and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Creating and answering questions about front-end development and web design to train AI models.
• Reviewing and evaluating code generated by AI in JavaScript, React, and other frameworks.
• Assessing UI/UX quality, accessibility, and design choices made by AI-generated code.
• Providing feedback on UI/UX design to enhance user interface intuitiveness and aesthetics.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue, or similar.
• Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and interaction patterns.
• Experience building polished, accessible, and production-ready web interfaces.
• Background in computer science, web development, or digital design (degree not required if experience is exceptional).
• Attention to detail and clear communication skills regarding visual and code quality.

Compensation

• Pay ranges from USD $25 to $50 per hour, depending on expertise, skills, location, and project specifics.
