Front End Developer - DV Cleared

• Salary: £55,000 - £70,000
• Location: Cheltenham, UK
• Clearance: Must hold enhanced DV / UKIC Clearance (West)

Summary:

As a Senior Front End Developer, you’ll take a leading role in designing, developing, and maintaining the essential frontend applications that underpin our services. You’ll bring a proactive, organised approach and a passion for creating clean, reliable, and user-focused solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects with complex challenges in a unique domain, delivering impactful solutions that make a real difference.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable, scalable front-end applications using modern frameworks and industry best practices
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, backend developers, and QA engineers

Required Experience:

• Experience as a Software Developer specializing in frontend JavaScript development, preferably within the React ecosystem, with solid knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Proven track record in designing and building modular frontend solutions, collaborating with non-technical partners such as UX teams, and presenting work to stakeholders
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, deployment tools, and cloud platforms including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, ideally with experience working in Agile environments
