- Execute on projects by developing accessible front-end templates, themes and components based on the design system and layouts delivered by the Marketing UX team (Figma)
- Build WordPress templates and complete themes (from scratch), with a functional CMS that empowers Karger business users to manage content independently
- Develop, implement and maintain a GDPR-compliant, cross platform, consent management concept
- Enforce accessibility standards on all content (currently WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Support updates across all of our customer facing platforms including Silverchair, WordPress, Thinkific, Salesforce Identify and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot)
- Support the Marketing unit with technical expertise and the administration of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics
- Assist with the development of HTML-based marketing newsletter and email templates
Qualification and experience required:
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a computer related discipline
- Experience building accessible modern websites and WordPress based microsites
- Good knowledge of the current WCAG standards, how to integrate them into the design process and how to test compliance
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), especially WordPress
- Experienced with version control using Git, Visual SourceSafe etc.
- The ability to collaborate across teams and deliver projects on time while working 100% or mostly remote
- A commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Technical knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (GTM) setup and management
- Knowledge of GDPR and consent management best practice and system integration / implementation
