Job Description:

Are you passionate about digital technologies and eager to develop your skillset? Our client, an esteemed wealth management firm, is seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join their Newcastle team on a permanent basis.

Essential Skills/Experience:

1. Experience of working with a content delivery network (CDN)
2. Ability to learn and understand new technologies
3. Analytical skills
4. Good organisational skills and attention to detail
5. Ability to work in a team or autonomously
6. Professional attitude
7. Good verbal and written communication skills
8. Skilled in the following platforms:
1. HTML5, CSS, SASS
2. JavaScript, jQuery
3. Modular JavaScript
4. Responsive web development
5. Bootstrap and other frameworks
6. Version Control
7. Knowledge of the .NET MVC pattern desirable
8. Experience using .NET Razor beneficial
9. Experience using Telerik charts desirable
10. Experience with SendGrid email templates beneficial

Core Responsibilities:

1. Working closely with the in-house design team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the frontend side of a variety of the firm’s in-house sites.
2. Take ownership of the CDN which is used, by keeping the styles and content up to date.
