We are currently recruiting for a full-time Front Desk Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team at voco Dubai. This role involves overseeing daily front office operations, ensuring efficient guest service, supervising front office hosts, managing guest inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating check-in and check-out procedures, and supporting the Front Office Manager in achieving departmental goals.

  1. Provide leadership and guidance to front office staff, including receptionists, concierge, and guest service agents.
  2. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.
  3. Conduct staff meetings to communicate updates and review performance metrics.
  4. Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new staff.
  5. Ensure prompt and courteous handling of guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  6. Maintain a professional and welcoming front office environment.
  7. Handle escalated guest issues with timely resolution.
  8. Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements.
  9. Coordinate check-in/check-out, room assignments, and billing.
  10. Oversee reservations, ensuring booking accuracy and availability.
  11. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
  12. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment.
  13. Assist in preparing reports, schedules, and administrative tasks.
  14. Handle financial transactions and reconcile daily receipts.
  15. Maintain records of guest interactions and transactions.
  16. Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
  17. Adhere to security protocols to protect guest information and property.
  18. Monitor safety and security measures, addressing concerns promptly.

What we need from you

At voco Dubai, we seek hosts who are reliably different and contribute to bringing our brand to life! Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in a front office or guest service role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity, is preferred. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and proficiency in Opera software and German language are also desired.
