Job description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Westminsterto assist with the appointment of aFront Desk Receptionist, on a 2.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £19.06 - £24.67 per hour

Summary:

As the first point of contact at Westminster City Council's Housing Service Centres, you will deliver exceptional customer service to residents, helping them access support, resolve housing issues, and navigate council services. Your presence will play a key role in enhancing both resident satisfaction and the reputation of the Housing Services team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient customer service at reception.
  • Manage appointment bookings, resident visit logs, key access requests, and rooftop access.
  • Handle challenging situations and customer complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Assist vulnerable residents, including making referrals for support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with key teams including Housing Officers, Income Officers, Leasehold Advisors, and Repairs Surveyors.
