Hays are working with a well-established organisation in Telford who are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join their team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced receptionist or administrator looking for an immediate start within a busy and welcoming office environment.

As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the front‑of‑house function, with duties including

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house or administrative role.
• Strong communication skills and professional telephone manner.
• Confidence working in a busy environment and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet visitors in a professional manner.
• Manage a busy switchboard and direct calls appropriately.
• Handle incoming and outgoing post and maintain visitor logs.
• Book meeting rooms and coordinate refreshments.
• Provide administrative support to wider teams as required.
• Keep reception and communal areas presentable at all times.
