Job summary

Mercure Newcastle George Washington Hotel is seeking a warm, professional Receptionist with at least one year of hotel front-of-house experience. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins, inquiries and billing with a friendly, efficient approach.

You will be the public face of the hotel, delivering excellent service, upselling facilities where appropriate, and using Opera PMS to manage reservations and messages.

Qualifications

• At least one year of front-of-house hotel reception experience.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
• Ability to upsell hotel facilities to guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, friendly reception service to all guests.
• Operate the hotel switchboard and manage messages.
• Take reservations and event bookings when needed.
• Ensure accurate guest billing and processing.
