The Front Desk Agent will contribute to the overall success of the hotel by providing superior customer service and administrative support to the Front Office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide excellent customer service and perform administrative duties such as guest check-in/check-out, handling guest concerns, assisting with group arrivals/departures, tours, and luggage storage.
  2. Follow established procedures and policies when completing tasks.
  3. Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
  4. Prepare and send courier packages, ensuring accurate billing and records.
  5. Order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
  6. Act as an ambassador for Coast, greeting guests and handling basic inquiries.
  7. Demonstrate a customer service attitude in interactions with internal and external contacts.
  8. Provide basic data entry and transaction handling for the Front Office.
  9. Accurately input data into the appropriate database.
  10. Produce statistics and reports based on the data as per standard formats.
  11. Report discrepancies in room rates, payment information, and credit arrangements to the appropriate manager for follow-up.
  12. Verify the accuracy of daily inputs, including payment transactions, and submit the daily shift audit for review.
  13. Handle cash, cheques, credit, and debit card transactions in accordance with hotel policies.
  14. Perform other duties as required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Secondary School Diploma.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Technical aptitude.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Bondable.
  • Aligns with Coast’s core values and enjoys working in a culture of accountability.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some nights.
