Qualifications

  • Experience as a duty manager is desirable.

What you'll bring to the team

Maze Team Leader

Location:Thorpe Park,

Hours:Full time, part time, weekends & holidays

Contract Type:Seasonal, until November 2025

To support the Resort Entertainments department in supervising and driving the department standards and vision including: Day to day duty managing, operationally driving standards, and consistently motivating the seasonal Hosts and Performers towards delivering compelling entertainment.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a team of Senior Event Hosts & Event Hosts throughout the FRIGHT NIGHTS event operation.
  • Lead the daily setup, operation, and close-down of FRIGHT NIGHTS attractions, ensuring all offerings open on time, operations remain efficient, and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Action previous day's Maze 1 handovers, addressing issues in staffing, training, cleanliness, ticket sales, utilisation, and downtime.
  • Proactively manage team welfare including absence, sickness, lateness, safety concerns, and near misses.
  • Conduct informal/formal investigations and performance management, including RD’s and disciplinary actions.
  • Lead guest recovery and queue line management during attraction incidents or downtimes; ensure consistent messaging is understood and communicated by Senior Hosts.
  • Support on-site incident response involving the hosting team, taking ownership of resolution and follow-up actions.

  • Must have strong operational knowledge
  • Duty manager experience is desirable.
  • An awareness of theme park daily operation and the Entertainments industry is desirable
