Job summary

Self Direct Support Options Fife in Scotland is seeking a compassionate care assistant to support a 34-year-old man with Cerebral Palsy. The role covers getting out of bed with a hoist, showering, dressing, and helping with breakfast for a 2-hour shift.

The ideal candidate will be patient, kind, discreet and able to adapt to the client’s routines. Training can be provided; PVG check is required to protect vulnerable groups.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care tasks is preferred.
• PVG check is required to protect vulnerable groups.
• Hoist experience is an advantage; training available.

Responsibilities

• Assist client out of bed using a hoist.
• Shower and dress client and prepare breakfast.
• Support morning routine with kindness and professionalism.
