Job summary

Tesco is seeking Customer Delivery Drivers to meet customers in their homes. This hands-on, physical role includes delivering groceries in a timely manner with a friendly, helpful attitude. Shifts are varied and you’ll work independently with support from managers.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores. Minimum 16 hours per week guaranteed, with some roles from 12 hours available. Driving licence required with up to 3 penalty points.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU driving licence with at least 12 months on the road.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs on the road and in store.

Responsibilities

• Keep van, trays and work area clean and organized.
• Load the van safely and complete checks for roadworthiness.
• Explain changes or substitutions in a friendly way and process refunds when needed.
• Deliver within customer time slots with a positive doorstep service.
