Tesco is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to represent the brand on the road, delivering groceries to customers’ homes with a friendly, helpful demeanor. The role offers varied shifts, independence most of the day, and support from a back‑at‑base team when needed.

Pay starts at £14.18 per hour, rising to £15.45 in M25 stores, with a guaranteed minimum of 16 hours per week and options for 12‑hour shifts. Additional payments may be offered at certain locations.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change while out on the road and in the store.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues to create great team spirit and deliver the best service for customers.

Responsibilities

• Keep your van, trays, and work area clean, tidy, and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure roadworthiness and reliable delivery.
• Explain order changes or substitutions to customers and process refunds when needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care to maintain quality and customer trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot with warm, natural service at the doorstep.
