Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Fridge Installer to join our engineering team in Lancashire. You will inspect, service and diagnose refrigeration systems on commercial vehicles, install new units and repair components as required.

The role requires fault-finding skills, safety focus and the ability to mentor junior engineers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• F-Gas qualification required.
• Experience in engineering, refrigeration or manufacturing environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Experience installing and repairing refrigeration systems.
• Safety-focused approach to work.
• Ability to mentor and support junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and diagnose refrigeration systems on commercial vehicles.
• Install new refrigeration systems and complete repairs as required.
• Repair and replace compressors, condensers and evaporators.
• Recharge systems and ensure optimum cooling performance.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot refrigeration issues.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs and servicing.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Support stock management and order parts when needed.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Collaborate with wider engineering and production teams.
